This Privacy Policy explains how Taleem (“we”, “us”, the “App”)
collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you use our mobile
application and website. By using Taleem, you agree to this Policy.
1. Information We Collect
- Account information: your email address and (optionally)
your name. If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account’s
email, name, and profile picture.
- Learning data: your exam answers, scores, CEFR levels,
and progress history, so we can grade you and show your results.
- Speaking recordings: for the Speaking section we record
your voice answers. These recordings are used only to
transcribe and grade your response and are automatically deleted
from our servers after grading. We do not keep the audio.
- Writing content: the text you write for Writing tasks is
stored so you can review your feedback. If you use the handwriting feature,
the photo is processed on your device and is not uploaded
or stored by us.
- Vocabulary: words you save to your personal dictionary
and their translations.
- Payment information: if you purchase coins, payments are
processed by our payment provider. We do not store your
full card number or CVV; only a payment token and the last four digits are
kept to enable repeat payments.
- Technical data: a push-notification token (to send you
results), and basic diagnostic information needed to run the service.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide the exam experience, grade your answers, and show your results
and progress.
- To send you a notification when your AI grading is ready.
- To process purchases and manage your coin balance.
- To maintain, secure, and improve the App.
3. AI Grading
To grade Writing and Speaking, your essay text and the transcript of your
spoken answer are sent to our AI grading provider (OpenAI) for analysis. This
data is used solely to produce your score and feedback.
4. Third-Party Services
We share data only as needed with the following processors:
- Supabase — authentication, database, and file storage.
- OpenAI — AI grading of Writing and Speaking (text and
speech transcripts).
- Google — Google Sign-In, Firebase Cloud Messaging
(push notifications), and word translation.
- Click.uz — payment processing for coin purchases.
We do not sell your personal data.
5. Data Retention
- Speaking audio recordings are deleted right after grading.
- Your account information, results, and saved data are kept while your
account exists.
- Payment records may be retained as required for accounting and legal
purposes.
6. Deleting Your Account
You can delete your account at any time from the App
(Profile → Delete account). This removes your personal data and
learning history. Certain payment records may be retained where required by
law.
7. Children’s Privacy
Taleem is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect
personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided
us data, please contact us and we will delete it.
8. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted
connections (HTTPS) and hashed passwords. No method of transmission or storage
is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.
9. International Data Transfers
Your data may be processed on servers located outside your country
(for example, by Supabase and OpenAI). By using the App you consent to such
transfers.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the
top reflects the latest version. Continued use of the App after changes means
you accept the updated Policy.
